The history of the Birmingham Unity Club starts some 130 years ago, when it was first formed as a none profit making money lending club, where members could borrow money from the club and pay it back in small weekly payments. The club  was first situated just round the corner in Summer Lane.

Over the years the club has change and is now affiliated to the C.I.U. and makes welcome all affiliated C.I.U. members. It supports
a League Billiard team and a Domino team, also has a very successful Fishing Club.

It is always looking for new members who will support the club and play an active roll in the club.
